There is an amazing amount of energy behind the Occupy movement.  Gandhi once said,  “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

I was lucky enough to join in on the Occupy movement on Saturday October 15th, a day where people around the world, stood together demanding change.  My son was interviewed by channel 10 news.  Occupy Miami made a powerful and beautiful video showing clips from the day and they used my son’s interview.   Please watch.  It is amazing.

I will be heading up to NYC in a couple days to help Occupy Wall Street!

Please join the movement.  We have so much strength when we stand together for justice. Together we can change the world.

Recently, my Tai Chi teacher reminded us that, “Chi follows Yi”.  Energy follows intention. I keep reminding myself of that simple truth. I am trying to watch my thoughts, and really trying to make sure I am living ahimsa (non-harming) with myself and with others.

And then, this morning I read a quote from the Dalai Lama “ The compassion we feel normally is biased and mixed with attachment. Genuine compassion flows towards all living beings, particularly your enemies. If I try to develop compassion towards my enemy, it may not benefit him directly, he may not even be aware of it. But it will immediately benefit me by calming my mind. On the other hand, if I dwell on how awful everything is, I immediately lose my peace of mind.”

I needed to be reminded of that for sure!

I am cultivating more love and compassion.  Chi follows Yi.

Be well. ~t
